Can you post a picture of the damage?

do you have soldering tin ?? - maybe it would be a good idea to "add" some on the soldering points - add it, mix it with the "old" tin and then remove it - now you can use fresh tin to resolder the battery

had the display dead or stuck pixels ? - some stuck pixels could be revived with "flashing" movies

did you "bent" the connector or did it come loose ?

if it's only bent - try to bent it back carefully - if its teared off - well - then it would be a good idea to post a picture of the damage (i know it's tiny - but i make shots like this with a watchmakers magnifier and my cell phone)
