MacBook internal Super Drive in the official Apple Enclosure?

I'm looking to remove the Super Drive from my Early 2011 13 inch Macbook Pro in order to add a 2nd hard drive via the caddy.

I see some broken Official Apple USB Super Drives on eBay, and thought it would be an idea to buy one of those to put the internal super drive I'm removing into.

Anyone know if this will work? I just think it would be nicer to have the actual apple usb enclosure vs some plastic 3rd party one.

The question is if your drive isn't PATA connected, (it isn't it uses an 8x SATA connector) what will you use for the power supply & connector board?.
