Home Button pressed randomly

Hello,

I had a problem with my iphone 5 that it kept activating siri randomly, just like the home button is pressed by its own.

I tried to exchange the home button flex cable but no success, the problem still persists. If I lift up the screen (no contact between flex cable and gold contacts at ligtning port) it doesn't activate siri anymore. I've also tested the home button functionality by making contact between the gold contacts with a screwdriver, working fine.

Do you have any suggestion what to try next?

I would replace the lighting port next if you have already replaced the home flex then the port must be the problem

But how could it be that the problem disappears if i lift up the screen, to disconnect the home flex cable from the ligtning port contacts? For me that means the problem is not located on the ligtning port.

Well it's either 3 things the home flex you ordered is faulty very unlikely that it would have the same problem that you are having with the old one

2. The lighting port when making contact with the home flex is opening the circuit all the time and giving you Siri.

3. Software issue
