Always serching Network with or without SIM Card in 4s

hi My iphone 4s with iOS 7.0.

it is showing searching always even with out sim card. however i can connect to the wifi and use it as ipod.

Also i've noticed that my phone's speaker is not working in hands free mode. i can talk over gtalk without hands fee mode.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Have you made sure the time and date is correct connect to wifi and go to settings and time and date and set it to auto when the time is correct put in sim and turn on airplane mode for 10seconds then turn off and wait and service should resume and acknowledge if you have no sim in

Thank you for your response.

I"ve checked the time and date which is correct. and put phone in airplane mode then normal still the issue remain same.

Also i tried to update/restore but it failes with unknown error.
