Hdd is not recognized by computer

Hello,

I have a MBP 2010 that I am running a dual hard drive setup. One day all of a sudden my computer shut itself off and when I restarted it, it took my to the startup screen like as if I had done a factory reset.

I Switched my SSD to where I kept my HDD in the caddy in the optical drive bay, and the SSD was able to read fine. But the HDD says it is not recognized by my computer.

So I just bought the SATA cable for the Hard drive and just finished installing it. When I started my computer it is still telling me that the drive isnt recognized...

Any Ideas?
