iPhone 4S no sound on calls

Hope somebody can help,

I have no sound during calls, and there is also no sound received at the other end of the call. I have replaced the dock connector, and this works perfectly when recharging. I have also replaced the top mic/power button assembly and this works ok - FaceTime audio works, mic works for voice memos and the speaker works for music playback and volume changes with the volume buttons, just no audio what soever on calls.

Any help at all would be hugely appreciated !

If no one can hear you and you can't hear them it sounds like the audio ic chip has gone faulty on the motherboard

So a logic board replacement should do it the do you think? it seems from looking on Ebay that they are locked to carrier & Apple ID so even if I get one that doesn't need unlocking I may still not be able to get the Apple ID set to mine, which would make the phone a bit rubbish :-/

You should send it to a specialist in logic board repairs first see if he can fix the issue it will be a !@#$ of alot cheaper than a logicboard if you find 1 that is.. Good luck
