Blu-ray replacement issues still doesnt read disks

I recently had an issue where my ps3 60 didnt read disks i took a working blu-ray drive from another PS3 60 Cech-a01 that i see was compatible along with that i have virtually replaced every part with new or tested compatible parts and I have no Change does not read notice or play any discs dvds etc. Please help I appreciate it greatly. All obvious trouble shooting has taken place not sure what else it could be.

Did you swap the logic board from the old drive to the new drive if not then that's the problem. If you did that and it still don't read disc it could be a dirty or bad lens. Leave the metal top off and watch what it's doing if you see red on the lazer when you enter a DVD then it works if you see blu it's working on the blu ray side. If you see both of them and that don't work then try to go to the secret menu and do option 3 then option 4.
