Stuck on loading screen
When I turn on my computer it gets stuck on the gray loading screen. What should I do?

First of all i'd try starting it up with the system disk. Hold down the C key when booting up. If that works you can do an archive & install to save your files.

I would first go to the second screen Utilities - Disk Utility and see if you can simply repair the disk.
You're right, could be the easier way.
