home button stopped working after LCD\DIGITIZER REPAIR

OK so I changed a iPhone 5lcd/dig and everything worked fine except the home button. So I replaced it and put in a new one Hone button and nothing. The metal prongs are straight not broken. Need help please!!!

Check your pin connector.

I mean the one on this picture. Make sure theese are properly bent upwards so the can get contact with the pins on the screen.

Do what Lekice says but first lift the screen up and make sure phone is turned on and press power button to put to sleep.. Now with the metal part of the screw driver touch the two metal prongs that's in the picture together at the same time with the screw driver this should then light up the screen as if you pressing the home button..

If screen fails to light up you need to change dock connecter. if screen lights up then just bend them two progs up a little higher
