On the PowerBook 1400cs 166 Mhz is it possible that the actual power switch on the actual keyboard could be broken therefore preventing me from turning the unit on? If it's not the AC power unit, and indeed is the switch itself, is there a manual available to instruct me in opening up the PB and replacing the switch? Is that part available for purchase, and where can I get the part.

How broken is the button? If their is a white circular, bumped up spot where the button should be, press with your finger on to that spot until you hit the circuit board beneath it, this should work other wise something else is wrong mostly.
