Removing the iPhone 4S Logic board Ribbon Damage?
As I was removing the logic board for a home button ribbon replacement I was at the step where you should simply be able to pull the logic board away from the top of the phone. I did that and made sure to follow the instructions to the letter BUT after I pulled it off there was another ribbon (not the 4 connectors) that seemed to be coming from the top near the WiFi antennae. Is there a way to fix this or did I just destroy my phone? :(
But aside from that I start charging my phone and it loops the battery charging sound and the screen is blank. When I press the power button the sound plays. I'm hoping this is a connector to logic board problem but fear that ribbon was essential.
Is this a good question?
