Problem about RAM Upgrade A1150

Can I upgrade the MEM to 4G(DDR2 800) in a MacBook Pro A1150? Does it support 4G MEM?

Each 2G mem is working, when 4G isn't working, I can't open the MAC os, just black screen.

Sadly, It wont work with 4g. I got 2x laptops with core Duo (macbook & macbook pro) and the max ram it will boot with is 2g. We also have 1x macbook Core 2 Duo and that one goes to 4g but none of apple's Core Duo will run on 4g…

Thanks
