LCD not working at all.

Hello,

Recently replaced an LCD, everything worked great. Decided to use phone to test remaining stock of LCD assemblies that came in as well. So I popped off the back, exposed the ribbon cables and proceeded to test each LCD one by one. At about the 5th one, I received absolutely nothing on the screen. No backlight, no LCD, zip. Thought it was a bad LCD. Then the next one. So I went back to ones that tested properly, nothing. Something has happened from one screen to the next. Any ideas? Thank you.

update: Ive reconnected the internal display and it works. I don't understand because I haven't done anything differently. Is there any reason why this would happen?

I did not power down the device after every screen test.

Check your testing cable sounds like it is damaged.
