Lines in display and no touch response

I'm repairing an iPhone 5 that was caught in a car door. The display assembly is fine but the back case has a small bend, that also slightly bent the logic board. The phone powers up fine, but there are lines in the display image, and the digitizer does not respond. These issues are board related as I have tested the display (am using it right now on my own iPhone 5)

Video of the issue here

My next step is to remove the emi shielding to have a look but was wondering if anyone had a similar issue and what the resolution was?

Thanks, first issue I've had to post out of 500 plus repairs that ifixit has aided in some way or another.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Yes I have tried multiple display assemblies on the faulty bored and the same result each time. The digitizer will not respond and there lines through the images. The slight bend in the board must have caused some severe damage..

You may be in luck. It seems the first connection you connect isn't pressed down all the way. I've had this happen numerous times. Open the phone and reconnect it all. The technique I use is while holding the iPhone in one hand, press down to where the ribbons kind of bend and firmly press the connectors down in place with the other hand. After all are pressed down, check the phone display to see if its fixed! Hope this helps.

I have come across the exact same problem described here, any help on how to fix this issue please?

Update

Yes, same here. I have found this website selling for capacitors for replacement. Do you think that they should fix the issue?
