Partition HD problem

i have a question. i was able o format my 60 gb hd for an ibook g4 usig G-parterd because a buddy of mine cleared the drive off. it originally had linux mint ppc on the ibook but i wanted to get rid of it and put OSX 10 on it but now my ibook wont even recognize the hd and G-parted says it has 3 partitions on it. AHHHHHH HELP.

I think you'll get more/better help on that software help page.

As a matter of policy typically we do not solve software issues - this is a hardware "fixit" forum.

There are some software fixes but of a more generic type.

I think you have munged (possibly permanently) your HD's MDB… this does happen occasionally.

If you get your HD back to a single partition I would strongly recommend you use the Apple disk tools to portion and format the drive as Mac OS Extended (journaled) for that machine and OS.
