iTunes won't recognize iPhone

I connect the iPhone to the computer as always and nothing happens at all. I connected another iPod using the same cord and it worked fine. I also connected the iPhone to the wall directly (power cord) and that worked fine.

I've tried restarting the iPhone twice and the computer once (Mac).

Thanks!

What version OSX do you have?

What kind of mac do you have?

Try hooking it up to a different usb port on your computer. I have experienced issues connecting through my keyboard usb port on my iMac so i only connect in the back.

Good Luck!

iPhone needs more power than iPod, try connecting it to a different USB port and if that doesn't work try with a different computer to eliminate the option that it's the phone
