Transplant A1502 hardware in A1425 case/display?

Actually 2 quests in one place.

A late 2013 13" retina was passed over by a car, a big one, and surprisingly it broke up. Interestingly, the things inside seem to be still working, but the display is wasted.. Since there are still no replacement parts for A1502 model, I was wandering if A1425 chassis could host the new internals, and also if the A1425 display asembly could fit and work flawlessly on this hypothetical retina Macenstein?

I wouldn't try it. The ports are different. The new housing is slimmer. iFixit reports, "The Retina display is a fused unit with no protective glass. If anything ever fails inside the display, the entire ($$$) assembly will need to be replaced." I'd sell it for parts.
