CECHL04 - UK to US Power Supply Conversion

Moved from UK to US.

This unit has a PS rated for 220V according to labels.

Wanted to change it to 110V for US.

Is that possible?

Vrinder, welcome to the US! You will not have to do that. The PS3 uses a universal power supply. AC IN: 100V-240 4.8-2.0A 50/60Hz DC Out: +5V : 3A +12V : 32A So all you have to get is the proper power cable to fit the electrical outlet. Hope this helps, good luck.

Just to clarify the label on the outside of the machine states 220-240 only.

That is correct, that sticker is due to the PS3 having been sold in the UK. You will find that the once sold in the US have the same sticker stating 110V

Hi Vrinder. Even i have same model as urs. Mine shows 220 on ps3 and moving to canada which has 110v.. Did it work fine for you when u plugged in 110v ?
