Why there is lines across the screen after turned it on?

I purchased this screen less than a month ago, and it worked great with no issues. Now after being off for a week or so due to waiting for activation the screen has lines going through it and in some apps the screen unreadable. There has been no damage to the screen and the phone has not suffered any shock due to dropping. I wonder could it be faulty? Somebody please help!

Could be faulty. Open a long youtube video and let it run for about 10-20 minutes. Strangely enough this sometimes fixes it. Also, update the phone to the most recent iOS. That usually helps as well.
