Ribbon Cable torn on upper case

MacBook Pro MA092LLA 17"

Apple MacBook Pro "Core Duo" 2.16 17" Specs

Identifiers: MacBook Pro 17-Inch - MA092LL/A - MacBookPro1,2 - A1151 - N/A

The single ribbon cabled that has a connector on the logic board, and runs along the top case with the keyboard light sensor over to the power button has been torn. It is a single ribbon cable that seems to handle the power and keyboard. Not sure what this cable is called. Is it possible to replace this ribbon cable?

It does not look like any of the guides for replacing the upper case and looks like you have to re-use the existing cable.

Any suggestions on how I might be able to fixit?

Thank you

David

No this is not the cable. I have taken a photo, and if I find out how to add it I will.

If not, a photo would help.
