Can Nexus 5 use battery from LG G2?

Hello,

Nexus 5 and LG G2 are very similar. There is a good chance their batteries are interchangeable.

If so, that would make it a cheap upgrade to 3000mAh for Nexus 5.

Hi Sergey, thanks for the tip! I looked into it a bit, and it looks like the batteries have incompatible connections.

From xda-developers forum, the LG G2's battery has its connection on the top left of the battery:

From our teardown, the Nexus 5 battery connection is on the top right:

Connector is easily moddable. But the real issue is that BL-T7 is 7mm longer - won't fit anyhow. Thank you!

how about the lg g flex battery? looks like the connector is on the same side as the nexus 5 battery...
