Damaged I/O connector on logic board

While replacing the I/O component I broke the connector on the logic board where it connects into. Can the black connector on the logic board be repaired?

Yes - I would suggest you seek professional help. Soldering logic board componets requires special tools, solder and lots & lots of practice. Visit your local computer/small electronics repair shop and have a talk with them.

I can't recommend any - there's logic board repair services over on e-bay.
