iPod touch 4g screen flex cable snap

hi guys,

i followed the guide from iFIXIT to repair my own iPod touch 4th gen, it was successful so i decided to repair my friends ones for a bit of extra money. but this one time only out of many screens ive fixed i get bad luck. i replaced the screen with the new one and then i test to see if the screen works properly and it does so next thing to do is adhesive. so i use 3M 300LSE adhesive stip pre cut, when i put it on the screen got stuck to the adhesive and the thin flex cable snapped. i payed 40 bucks for this screen and then stupid me stuffs it up is there anyway to fix this, i have already bought a new one to replace it with but im curious if its fixable. ill post pics.

Cheers

you can't fix flex cables, even if you can, the touch panel cables are extremely sensitive, you may get unresponsive/ jerky touch inputs from it
