How can I make the Apple Magic Mouse work again?
Help! I dropped my Apple Magic Mouse and it doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know how to repair it? Appreciate your advice.

If there was no external damage , take it and your reciept to where you bought it and request replacement. Otherwise change the batteries , making sure they are in the right direction. If that doesn't work it's time to buy a new mouse.

You may also have to add small pieces of aluminum foil on the negative side of the batteries. It worked for me.

My mouse suddenly stopped work. The batteries are new but the green light does not turn on and does not work. Is there a way to fix it. I appreciate your assistance. Maria

What's it doing? Any light?

Thanks for your replies.
There's no external damage. The light doesn't go on when I flick the switch. I've checked the batteries and they're correctly positioned. They also still work (in another device). I bought this Mouse just two months ago in a place far from where I am now so no chance to go back and ask for a replacement. Pity really. It wasn't even a high fall - the Mouse fell from a shelf just 9 inches above a wooden floor.
Last attempt: has anyone tried fixing a Magic Mouse?
