Why are my keys weird?

Well I just got a new PS3 Super Slim and as I was setting it up, when ever I would have to select something, on most PS3's it would be the X button but for some reason mine was the O button. I tried looking for the solution on other forums and I tried going into the settings but nothing. So is it just the PS3 super slim or can I fix this issue?

Seems like you have to do your own key mapping. Press the "Esc" to the Select Character & Basic Options Menu.
