Hotpoint Few10 door wont open

I have a Hotpoint Few10 washing machine and I cannot get the door open.

The door locked light is on continuous, I have tried running the washer through a full cycle a few times, emptied the pump and left it unplugged ovet night but i still cant get the door open.

I have tried to release it via taking the top off but I still cant get it open.

Options

If the washer door won't unlock the problem might be the main control board. This is not common. Normally the problem is with the lock mechanism.
