Doesnt boot, fan clicks, booted now doesnt again.

Picked a macbook up for spares the other day. Got it home and it didnt boot at all, just the fan making a clicking noise. Opened it up and no signs of liquid damage etc, tried taking RAM out etc still the same. Changed the magsafe board, still no luck

Tried it yesterday and it booted as normal, straight through to Lion no issues at all. Must have rebooted 5 times without any issues. Just gone to boot again and now Im back to the start, press the power button and the fan makes a click and the sleep light flashes in time with the clicks.

Any ideas of what may be causing it or could the logic board be giving out?

Thanks

Hi,

Seems like your MAC is not getting charged properly. This might be a Problem with your MAC charger or either the battery needs a replace. Try charging your MAC with a new charger unplug the charger after it is charged and then switch on MAC if it works fine then problem was with charger however if it does not then you have to buy a new battery for your MAC.

Good Luck.
