Proximity Sensor not reporting. How to replace?

My proximity sensor seems to be broken. Sensor reading apps aren't able to detect when I hover my hand over the earpiece (reading is always 0), and when I'm in a call, the screen turns off instantly.

I can't seem to find a description that says which component houses the proximity sensor. Is this detailed somewhere?

Hi, Victor, the proximity sensor is connected with the ear phone, which means you have to replace both of them if you want to replace the sensor. You can watch this

to find the detailed position (at the last several steps) and learn how to replace it.

I had the same issue with mine and cleaning the glass from the back fixed it. Dust seems to be getting under the glass from the earpeice.
