Lightning Struck PS3 Wont Turn On

I was playing my ps3 during a lightning storm and stupid me didn't have a surge protector. Lightning struck the house and there was a loud pop. the lights flickered off and on. When I looked at my ps3 the light wasn't turned on. I googled how to take a ps3 apart and looked at the power supply and the unit was fried so I bought psu off ebay and put it in. The power is still off and it doesn't work. Could something else be fried that would keep it from not tuning on at all?

Options

Yes - it's possible the current passed through the power supply and damaged the logic board. Examine the board for burned components. You might want to make an insurance claim. . . (depending upon your deductible maybe not).
