iPhone 4 does not charge/connect to computer since battery replacement

Hello,

I recently changed my iPhone 4 (8gb) battery and now my phone wont charge or connect to a computer.

When I changed my battery, I lost the contact clip near the battery connector. I thought this was the reason why my phone didn't charge/connect. But then I purchased and replaced the contact clip and my phone still does not charge or connect.

I would really appreciate any suggestions!

Thanks!!

I know you have already replaced the battery, but almost all new batteries out there are 3rd party ones and a lot of them a duds (I have had 5 in a row be dead on arrival).

So where to go from here, recommend replacing the battery again.

Leave the iPhone on charge to a few hours to truly get a full charge in it.

Oh do you still have the old battery, as you could try putting it back in to confirm it charges even a little (unless it was also completely dead that is).

This hopefully this will be a simple issue but if not I will help you get it resolved.

Please let me know how you get on.
