Answer to: Back camera not working anymoreHello, The gold bracket should look like this when it is installed correctly. This might effect the cameras operation so ensure this is correct before we go on to anything else. If you have confirmed this bracket is correct and the camera still will not function then i suggest replacing the camera, seems like you haven't had much luck on this one. This guide will help you through the replacement (not like i think you need it). Please let me know how you get on and as always if you ever need any help just ask. Answer to: Display Problem MacBook Pro 2011 late?Hello, I see this all the time, in short it is Back Light Bleed. This is where over time and a lot of use the backlight elements start to bleed, and the backlight is no longer even through out the display, therefor you see a slightly different shade over that part of the screen. Now sadly this cannot be repaired and the only way to get rid of it is to replace the LCD. This guide shows you how to remove the display assembly from the MBP but I would go even further and strip down the assembly to replace the LCD it self. There are a lot of LCD available on ebay at good prices. Next the following site can provide you with the list of compatible LCDs from multiple manufactures, don't buy from them just find the part number and search on eBay, just enter your MBP serial number hit enter and then click parts when your model appears http://www.thebookyard.com Please let me know how you get on and as always if you ever need any help just ask. Answer to: Tiny connector near fan broke off logic boardHello, That connector is for the keyboard backlight and doesn't effect any other system. If you are happy you can just leave it off, but if you want the backlight working then… You should be able to just solder the flex on to the logic board, but if you ever need to remove the logic board then you will need to desolder the connection. I would recommend trying to solder a new connector back on. The following link is for eBay and someone is selling the connector you need. Please let me know how you get on and if you ever need any help just ask. Cheers Brendan Mills

Answer to: logic board replacement Got 2.4 want 2.66I have once been given a 2012 MBP to repair with the casing completely damaged beyond use but the logic board was okay, I stripped down an old 2009 MBP and fitted all the items from the 2012 into the 2009 and yes it fitted, there was one screw mounting point which was not the the right place but this did not effect the operation of the logic board. In short it will fit as all A1278 model MBPs are design with the same fitting apart from that one screw position, which is near the display cable BTW. Follow this guide to show you how to fit the new logic board. Let me know how it goes and as always if you need anymore help please just ask. Cheers Brendan Mills
Answer to: Ipad mini won't turn on? Tried everything?First have a look inside the dock connector and check for any dirt or other objects and clean them out if there is any Second I would recommend leaving the iPad mini on a AC wall charger for a few hours and then have another look to see if the iPad is working Failing all that, its time to send your iPad back to Apple as it will still be covered by the warranty and since you have not damaged it, you will not want to pay out for any repairs Let me know how you get on and which method leads to success, if you need any more help please ask Cheers Brendan Mills

Answer to: Dual HDD Install, replace thermal cable?I would recommend placing the thermal sensor in a relative similar location as it was on the optical drive. See image This will be able to give the correct readings for the fan to operate as it should. Using foam tape would be best, but if you don't have any normal insulation tape will do. Make sure you connect the other end of the cable to the location you disconnected it from on the logic board. See Image I hop this helps, if you need any more help just ask. Cheers Brendan Mills
Answer to: Why is my touch screen not working properly?Okay this could be down to a few things, connection issues or the flex could be damaged. First please try a hard reset by holding down the power and home button at the same time until the screen goes black and the apple logo appears, then let go. if the issue is still present please do the following. Complete the following guide and remove your display completely iPhone 4 (GSM/AT&T) Screen Replacement Once you have done this check the following locations for any type of damage, Both sides of flex, as there is a snag point with could have been damaged. These connectors are for both the LCD and the touch screen, it is worth checking both and possible cleaning them with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton bud if they appear dirty in some way. It is likely the flex has become damaged, if it has please replace and the issue should be resolved. If the flex appears okay, sadly you may have to resort to replacing the screen anyway. Please let me know how you get on and I'm alway here to help just ask. Best Regards Brendan...
