hello from Spain. i just have many dead pixel on my display(soory about my english) just want to now about price ,and where can i buy it one display for my iMac g5..thanks!!!!

are the pixels dead or stuck ???
some people tried different techniques to get rid of those problems - some might work (i can't tell you - none of my computers had this problem) - maybe you should try something like that first.
and about the new lcd ->
as far as i know (or as far as i googled it) - the 20" lcd is a LM201W01 - BUT it's different (the apple style different) - all the other - cheaper - LM201W01's won't work.
as you can read on macrumors - even an lcd from a real g5 didn't work on the core duo (had the same issue with a 17" g5 isight that played dead when the lcd from a regular g5 was connected - the lcd's had the same model number)
so i think you need exactly the lcd of that particular model - and that cost "only" ~ 900€ - what a bargain compared to a new iMac (kiddin - add 199€ and you get a new iMac)
i think the "cheapest" way would be getting a working core duo iMac and selling the faulty one - but be careful - there are many many bad ones out there.

ebay is your best friend for iMac G5 parts since there are lots of dead units out there (faulty logic boards).

hey mr lemerise your answer was very nice.thank you very much for all!!!!!!! your great thanks!!!.i just have 2 little points on my display (or 2 dead pixel)and all i want its to repair (cause i thought that will be chip,like to 200 euros....but expensive!!!) so if you you have an idea to back my pixels on ..please tell my .thanks agian!!!!

depends on your model - the core duo can handle up to 2gb and the code 2 duo can handle 3gb
what exact model do you have ?

put 2 gb in it and snow leo will run fine - i have some devices running it - all with 2 gb ram.
more is under normal conditions not necessary
