My iPhone 5 keeps reboot

Hi guys,

I have my iPhone 5 in February this year, but now it kept rebooting since last week. I have my phone restored to the newest OS and even set it as a new phone. But the problem still is there. And I checked the real-time system Log generated from Itools. It points in my opinion to a hardware problem:

Jul 9 11:28:45 Ivans-iPhone CLTM[13] <Error>: CLTM: Could not get event from temperature service

Jul 9 11:28:45 Ivans-iPhone CLTM[13] <Error>: CLTM: Could not get value for gas gauge battery

Could this be a battery problem? Many thanks in advance!

As your iPhone is an iPhone 5 and that it's been released less than one year ago, you device must be still under warranty. So, the best thing you may do would be bringing it back to an Apple Store Genius Bar. They will try fixing it but I reccomend you to backup all your DATA on iTunes as they may replace it if something's going wrong.

Hoping to have helped you,

Zaam, absolutely can this be a battery issue. Remember that our battery has four connectors, left to right:

GND - GROUND

NTC - NEGATIVE TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT

can give you this error " <Error>: CLTM: Could not get event from temperature service"

SWI - GAS GAUGE

can give you this one "CLTM: Could not get value for gas gauge battery"

VBAT - POSITIVE VOLT OF BATTERY

So, you could replace the battery, check the solder pads and connector while you are doing this. Or you could do what Vincent Monteil suggest, if it is still covered under warranty. Hope this helps, good luck.

Reconnected the battery, it works, never show that wrong message any more. Thanks!

It is the RAM problem. When the phone starts to restart itself, I close all the apps that I don't currently use and the restarting stops.
