Why is my phone vibrating every 5 seconds?

I dropped my iphone 4s and a small metal piece fell out of the back when i opened it up. i cant afford a replacement and itunes is posting error messages when i try to restore it. it only vibrates when its plugged in and gets very hot. The screen is completely unresponsive. What could the problem be and what component could be causing it? the metal piece is somewhere in my kitchen

Hav you tried to put your iPhone in DFU mode to restore it ?

ive tried everything and the metal piece got lost when i tried to take a pic of it like 2 weeks ago so its gone...i was wondering if anyone knew what could be causing the problem or if there was anyway i could find out what it is...the screen wont on at all and it only vibrates when plugged into something

So mabe could you give us a picture of your iPhone without the rear panel so we can look for what is missing ?
