Why is my iPhone showing no service after water damage?

So, two days ago I accidentally dropped my iPhone in the bathtub. At the time, the wi-fi and service was working, but the touch screen wasn't.

I put the phone in dry rice in a warm area for two days and now everything works BUT the service. It will say searching then go to "No Service".

I took it apart, checked for corrosion, and there wasn't anything. The blue coil is fine. I unhooked the antenna and reattached it, but nothing.

It's currently back in the rice.

What do I do?

Did you clean it? The SMD components are minute, and it does not take much corrosion to have those fail. Rice is great first aid, but is does not prevent or repair corrosion.

Hi emma !

You may try oning a new antenna and replace it :) If the problem persists, have a look at the logic board. But 1st of all, if your phone is under warranty, you may bring it back to Apple Genius Bar.
