My xbox is fine at the dashboard but when i play a game new or old it always ends up freezing either between an hour 30 mins and even 5 into playing a game its so annoying

Does it happen with games stored on t he Hard Drive ? If it does not, I recommend you to order one and replace your xBox optical drive. This is one of the main problems with consoles and can be fixed easily.
Don't forget to try and use your warranty.

not with downloaded games no. but it will also freeze with youtube sometimes

Do not just replace the DVD drive, you have to extract the drive logic board and install it into the new drive
