I've replaced tons of iPhone 4 and 4S Screens. Sometimes the proximity sensor issue comes up, but I usually fix it with black tape or a sharpie. I just replaced one yesterday and it had the issue, so I took it apart and covered it with black tape, but that still didn't fix the issue? Is there another trick or something else I could do??

Did u take the plastic bracket off the old one and put it on the new 1?
