Swap Core i5 to Quad i7 Logic Board?

I have the Mid 2010 17" Core i5 Unibody Macbook and would like to know if I can swap the logic board for the Quad i7?

My i5 works but board will not charge....and could do with the speed for Music work!

Most likely - but I would insist that the vendor guarantee the swap so if there's a problem you can return the board without restock fees. Basically the i7 is a build to order upgrade of the i5 box.
