N154C6-L02 screen and its not working properly

Hi I have just bought a chi mei N154C6-L02 screen and its not working properly with my a1226 macbook pro. It turns on and works fine with the grey apple boot screen but after when it comes to boot up it goes pixelated and lined. I have check it i had the L154wp2 originally in my mac. what can i do? Do i have to send it back and get the LP154 one or enough if i swap the lvds cable? What is the difference in these macbook pros causing this problem? The inverter, the lvds cable or different nvidia chips?

There is a subtle difference between the the Chi Mei N154C6-L02 and the LG L154wp2. Pin 5 on the connector for the LG is VCC Power Supply, 3.3V whereas on the Chi Mei this pin is NC Non-Connection

Hook it up to an external monitor and see if the problem persists. Why are you replacing the screen?
