Flex on bottom of MacBook Pro. Lower Case Clips Broken?
I recently removed the bottom case lid on my Macbook Pro to install some memory. The new memory appears to have been installed just fine and the laptop is up and working again as per usual, but I'm worried about some slight flex in the bottom of the case that wasn't there before.
There was some slight resistance when I took the case off initially, which I assume was the clips, but when I put it back on after swapping out the memory I wasn't sure how it was supposed to feel when it went back on. Looking at the bottom of the case lid, I'm not even certain which parts are the clips. I'm assuming they are those 2 small plastic bits near the centre of the lid, but I could be wrong. Unfortunately the iFixit guide is quite vague about this.
Could I have accidentally broken the clips? What are they supposed to look like and how are supposed to be re-attached?
Is this a good question?
