Does anybody know, whether 16GB of 1866MHz CL10 Ram will work in my MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Mid 2012.

Thx in advance,

Memory comes in two different form factors the Corsair Vengeance 16Gb 1866MHz Ram is intended for desktop systems not for a laptop.

You need DDR3 (Double Data Rate -3) SO-DIMM (Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module) which Corsair does not sell (per their lookup tool).

Hi Dan,

thanks for the answer. I'm sorry that I didn't write my question more detailed. I know that Laptops need DDR3 SO-DIMM Memory. And Corsair sells memory of the typ I named for notebooks: CMSX16GX3M2A1866C10 RAMEXPERTS. I just wanted to know wether 1866MHz memory will work with my macbook pro. Normally it shouldn't be a problem, because series-7 chipsets of intel will support it. But I'd be happy if somebody has experience with this configuration.

At the time I did the lookup they didn't offer any SO-DIMM Vengeance series from what their web site stated. It appears they do now. Vengeance series
