No connection but wifi after teardown?

After teardown for screen replacement, I've a problem of connection(s) with my iPhone.

Except wifi, non other connection works : no gps, no gsm, no gps.

At the begin, I was thinking that my problem come from the missing (blue) inductor who's normally present on the bottom on the logic board (between silver and cooper connectors) and bridge it. But no change. Now I see that either bluetooth and gps signal are missing (functions work but no detection).

Is there a part (broken or misplaced after tear down) who can explain all these ?

Thanks,

Patrick.

I had the same issue with a 4s last week. I went back and used 94% isoprophyl alcohol to clean the grounding contacts, etc, then put the parts back in using tweezers instead of my fingers. The wifi and cell reception jumped to 100%, better than when the phone was brought in for a screen replacement.

Thanks for this help. Yes I will try to tear down all again and clean all contact in antenna's and other.

The "strange" on my problem is to loose on the same time GPS, cellular and Bluetooth who are not related to the same chipset on the mother board.

Look further and tell you if working ;-)

Thanks.

You probably have issues with the antenna.

I add the chance to try the same mother board on another iPhone but have the same issue. Of course the antenna (fixed to the speakers part was the one of the other iPhone, so don't think that's the antenna. Otherwise this antenna.

Will investigate further on the other antenna connection (on the frame body)

Thanks for your help.
