I dropped my razor max in water and it work shortly after , the next day it would not connect to Verizon ?? took my sim card out and put in my daughters phone (same kind of phone ) it worked. took back off my phone put it in rice for a few days and it still says no service?

shelly, rice is a great first aid, but it will not repair, nor prevent, any damage or corrosion. The very first thing I would do, is to clean the complete phone, disassembled of course, with high grade isopropyl alcohol. Check on here about general cleaning. This great guide shows how to clean an iPhone, but all the points are still pertinent to your phone as well. Check your logic board for any missing, charred or otherwise damaged looking components, check around your SIM card tray for any damage or bend pins of the reader itself. Replace the battery after cleaning and see what you get. Hope this helps, good luck.
