Soldering a new processor

is it possible to solder in a new i3 i5 or i7 proccesor ? or what proccesor can i solder in?

also whats the most amount of ram i can solder in ?

Jay - You really can't swap-out the CPU or the RAM on this system. Sorry ;-{

The equipment needed to replace SMT components is expensive and you need good soldering skills with SMT before you should even try this.

Of the two people who have tried replacing the memory chips I know of both killed their systems in the process. The CPU is much harder to replace physically, even Apple doesn't try to salvage the logic board if they have a bad CPU.
