Why is my screen not turning on?

My HP Touchpad screen is not turning on. The tablet itself turns on, volume controls work etc. I have used WebOS Doctor to reformat, pried apart the case and checked the connections. Everything seems fine (but what would I know!) I asked the HP Rep who said it would be $170 just for a quote for fixing it which I'm not paying for a tablet i spent $99 on. What do I do now?

It sounds like the LCD may have died on the TouchPad, and needs to be replaced. You may be able to do some searching to find the LCD to replace it. Our guide to replace that LCD can be found here.
