Why is my replacement display not staying connected to logic board?

I brought 2 replacement screens off eBay last week. I installed them fine and both were working, but unfortunately I had to reopen both the phones to fix the proximity sensor problem. I struggled away to fix it, and it took me a few goes initially, when I came to press the LCD/digitizer contact on the motherboard it wouldn't stay clipped on. I figured if I kept my finger on it then put the antenna cover on it would fix the problem, it didn't! I'm from the uk and most replacement screens are between £19-25 on eBay, so I went for the £19 of course! Can anyone tell me where I can get reliable parts for in the uk? Also anyone else had this problem?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

You say that those screens were working fine for you before? It seems odd that they wouldn't connect on the connector now.

Yeh I know, they just won't stay down, I've tried so many times, one of them half works, but the screen just flashes. The link I put up, would that actually be a genuine apple product?
