trying to separate display bezel from rear panel.

Trying to separate the display from the rear panel. Removed two screws and placed a suction cup on display. Instructions says it may take a bit of force to separate. My question is: do I have to hold the rear panel a certain way? Every time I apply force with my right hand, the phone slips out my left hand. How do I hold the phone so that the display separates? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hold the phone with your left hand, making sure your fingers wrap around the chrome bezel but not onto the screen. Put the suction cup on the screw end, and place your thumb at the other end of the screen. Put your index finger in the suction cup ring and pull up. I've never had one that wouldn't come up doing it like that.

Now if the screen is cracked...it's a different story. Most people make a duct tape handle to lift the screen up. Apply duct tape to the cracked area at the bottom, and really secure it on there. Make a little handle out of the tape, and lift as said in the other way.

Good luck!
