Right Click Does not work

Hi,

The right click in my laptop is not working. I think this is because of some tea has spilled on it. It was ok at the beginning (after I dried it) but now it is not working at all.

Any suggestions?

Regards,

Hi Ahmed,

I suppose you are talking about the mouse pad/left-right button area of your laptop.

Here is what I would do:

First, I would run the hardware trouble shooting program that comes with Windows 7.

Second: It could be that due to the tea spill some corrosion occurred around the area of the right button or the trackpad in general. You might open your laptop and check out this area. Treat it with some isopropyl alcohol and dry it diligently with a hair dryer before you assemble it back. You can follow this teardown here.
