Display acting up after replacement?

Ok so here's the story, after replacing an iPhone 4s screen twice, the display will either work fine as its booting then flicker and shut off or it wont work at all. I've tried both of these screens on a test phone w/ a cable extender and they worked fine but when i replaced the customers phone, i got the above problems. I've done some research and the wires aren't torn or anything, the connectors are seated properly, and i tried hard resetting it(holding power+home) and to no success. I have replaced many phone screens in the past and this problem has happened only twice w/ me. Please any help would be appreciated!

Seemo, "then flicker and shut off " sounds like either a bad connector or a bad coil. clean the connector and make sure that there are no broken or bend pins. If that checks out, I would suggest that you check out the backlight coil. Hope this helps, good luck.
