removo the screen assamble to work with external screen

Hi...

I wish to know if I can remove the assemble screen from my laptop A1226 and work only with a external display?

This happens...

I bought an exactly same computer but with screen damage, everything works fine but the screen...

I have an MBP A1226 with MB damage not boot... just the front light turn on...

So I shift the screens and everything goes well in the MBP that I bought with a damage screen...

But.... I read a post here that says: If you took a blanket and roll up your MBP and let it over heat. The MBP may comes alive... guess what.... It work...

Now I have this MBP with screen damage but I have no Intentions to spend more money...

So I wish to know if I can use it as desktop computer but with no screen assemble, for use the keyboard and mouse pad of the MBP...
